  Laying on their side for 3 days

  it's been so long since i was at a meeting that i'm beginning to forget a lot of the nonsense i used to know, but does anyone remember how the society used to say that when the gb members were imprisioned around 1919 it fullfilled the prophesy about the prophet laying on his side for 3 days in the roadway ?.

  what was that all about and how does their belief regarding their role in fulfilling this prophesy effect the new thinking on the definition of "generation" ?

  it seems like they just had to amend the term "generation" in order to keep the year 1914 relevant as well as all the other supposed fullfilments of prophesy they thought they were part of.

  omfg.... .

  i keep coming across these shows...what are they doing to their poor kids?

  mostly i am refering to tat, which is guilty of glorifying the screaming and yelling at, as well as physically hurting of kids.

  Australia Pioneer Convention experience.....we at veggies from the gutter...encouraging!!!!

  i'll never forget sitting at our district convention when a lovely pioneer family came on to tell us their experiences.

  they father went on about how the struggled at times but "jehovah provided" like the time a fruit and veggies truck must have lost some of it's load and they filled there bags?????

  not very encouraging at all.

  when his father died fred franz told his mother he could not go to the funeral because he was just too busy at bethel.

  In he's Nephews book I could not believe some of the things he mentions. When his FATHER died Fred Franz told his mother he could not go to the funeral because he was just too BUSY at Bethel. She spoke to Rutherford who ordered him to go. At the funeral of a young Franz Nephew Fred was asked to give a speech......so in front of the widow and kids he starts "ISN'T IT WONDERFUL TO BE ALIVE".......saying nothing about the person he dribbles on about doctrine then gestures casually to the coffin....."in the end we all end up like this..."

  When told Acts 20:20 can't be translated as going "Door to Door" he explains how the apostles could have gone in the Front door...and out the Back door, causing much Governing body laughter.

  The man has no idea how to function in reality. A total Watchtower/Bethel robot.

  Whenever I say something like "Slutty Looking" makeup,.... out come the girls like Zena Warrior Princess to put their 2 cents in. People like FlyingHigh, now will "swoop down" to set things right for woman kind or Mrs Jones.....and that other poster what's her name....and her friend ummm. Who do you guys think are the Female warriors here? Are girls more Aggressive and competative? Like these dating shows I'm sure the girl is NOT seriously interested in competing for this idiot handing out roses but there's no way these girls are goning to lose.

  My Wierd memorial story 2012...I was going to "swig it."

  witnesses came around with invites we had not been to meetings.....since last memorial.

  wife wanted me to go, "but your taking me to dinner and drinks afterwards ok..." i went.

  suit came out of moth balls, alittle snug, need to go to the gym?

  Sorry Ziddina forgot....a Smurf doll jumped out of a kids hands and very loudly ate two plates of bread with cheese he had in his pocket, and drank all the wine while singing "Stairway to heven."
